The Finished Work of Jesus

Good News Translation
"My food," Jesus said to them, "is to obey the will of the one who sent me and to finish the work he gave me to do.

Have you ever wondered why Jesus would agree to leave the gold streets of heaven, the 24 hour praise of His name, unlimited power, authority and majesty and most of all be separated from His Father by becoming what He absolutely hates, allowing the sins of all humanity to be transferred to him?  He did this in order to save our lives from eternal death and allow us to be reconciled to His Father.  This was His Father's idea and His way of making a way for you to be in unbroken relationship with Him.

Like the greatest undercover hero, the most accurate marksman, Jesus forever changed how God sees us by dying on the cross.  From His birth to His final breath and then His resurrection Jesus obeyed all that God wanted and has met every requirement on our behalf.   In doing this He has accepted the full punishment that our sins deserve on our behalf, and offers us an invitation to have life with God and life led by God who is infinitely wise.

Life with God, is a movement from being seen as sinful to being made righteous, from sickness to health, from death to eternal life, from poverty to true riches, from hopelessness to hope, from confusion to soundness of mind, from anxiety and worry to peace and security, from uncertainty about your future to the certainty of God's good will and outcome for our lives.  It is movement from generational curses to generational blessings and so much more.  All this God offers us...as the Word of God says, oh taste and see that the Lord is good.  Blessed is the man that trusts and takes refuge in Him. (Ps 34:8) Don't delay, accept Jesus into your life today and enjoy the benefits that He so laboured for you to receive and enjoy.
